Reckson partnership falls apart

Real estate developer Harry Macklowe has pulled out of a partnership with financier Carl Icahn, jeopardizing Icahn’s bid to acquire Reckson Associates Realty Corp. Earlier this month, the pair put in a hostile bid for the company, which was considering a merger with SL Green Realty. Icahn says he is prepared to move forward with his bid alone. more [WSJ]
