 Hudson Yards deadline approaches

 As the October 11 deadline for bids to develop Hudson Yards approaches, a 26-acre industrial area on the far West Side, many questions remain. The value of the land is uncertain, though an MTA-commissioned appraisal put it at $2.74 billion. The property could be sold or leased and it could be divided into two parcels. Confirmed developers include Related and The Durst Organization, which is working with Vornado to propose a tower there for Conde Nast.
