City considers bills for renter disputes

Two rival bills recently proposed by the city council would give leverage to opposing sides in disputes between tenants and landlords. Introduction 627, which would protect renters from harassment, has received support from 34 of 51 council members. The other bill, Introduction 638 would be more favorable to landlords.
