Doctoroff replacement chosen

The president of the city’s Economic Development Corporation, Robert
Lieber, has officially been tapped to become the city’s next
development czar. Earlier today Mayor Bloomberg announced that Lieber
would take over as the new deputy mayor for economic development when
Dan Doctoroff steps down on January 11. Doctoroff will become the new
president of the mayor’s global financial services company, Bloomberg
LP.
