Lieber expected to follow Doctoroff’s path

Newly appointed deputy mayor for economic development Robert Lieber is
expected to follow his predecessor Daniel Doctoroff’s policy closely.
Doctoroff picked Lieber, a fellow Wall Street veteran, to be the
president of the Economic Development Corporation one year ago. As
president of the EDC Lieberman oversaw 400 employees, and worked
closely with Doctoroff on projects, including Hudson Yards and the
rezoning in Coney Island.
