REITs remain bullish

Although total returns in REIT stocks have declined by 21.9 percent
since their peak in February 2007, many trusts are bullish as 2008
begins. Experts in the field argue that office vacancies remain low,
and REITs, with typically little reliance on leverage, are relatively
shielded from the credit crunch.
