Free spa days, travel arrangements and wine deliveries – amenities once reserved for hotels and some upscale condos are now on offer at rental towers built by the developer Gotham. At developments like The New Gotham at 520 West 43rd Street and the Atlas, overlooking the Empire State Building, the developer is attracting the young and wealthy with pricey concierge services and weekly events offer a built-in social life. Gotham’s pop-culture savvy staff has put on events like an independent film festival on a roof terrace where “Entourage” star Adrian Grenier premiered his HBO film “A Shot in the Dark.” Gotham buildings have housed contestants for the Bravo television show “Project Runway” for four straight years.
