The median price of a U.S. house fell last year for the first time since at least 1968, the National Association of Realtors projects. The last time the median price dropped in a full year was likely during the Depression in the 1930s, a NAR spokesman said. The association forecasts that sales probably dropped 13 percent last year, the most since 1989.
