Two new owners of condos at the Plaza have cut the asking prices of the units they are reselling. Italian-born architect Teresa Sapey could still make a big profit though. She has dropped $200,000 off the $10 million she wanted for her 13th-floor unit, which she paid $6.9 million for in July. But Fred Farago, president of a fruit-flavoring company, will roughly break even by selling his 1,200-square-foot one-bedroom apartment on the 15th floor for $5.9 million. He originally asked for $6.8 million. Meanwhile, at 15 Central Park West, Evan Cole — co-founder of ABC Carpet & Home — is selling his 15th-floor three-bedroom apartment for over $9 million. As The Real Deal first reported, he originally paid $4.91 million.
