Whoever buys the 4,800-square-foot top-floor penthouse at Larry Silverstein’s planned condominium-hotel at 99 Church Street will hold a unique destination: no home in New York City will be higher up, because the tower will be the city’s tallest residential building. When the tower is completed, its top floor will knock the 90th floor of Trump World Tower from its perch as the city’s highest homes. Corcoran Sunshine, which is marketing the building, floated a balloon equipped with a camera 900 feet up to take 360-degree photographs that show off the future penthouse’s view. Trump, meanwhile, said he wasn’t worried about the competition. “It doesn’t have the location, the United Nations,” he said. “You can’t compete with that … You can see out to the Hamptons.”
