Four elderly tenants won a court order blocking their landlord from putting floor-to-ceiling windows in their rent-stabilized apartments at Lincoln Square at 60 West 66th Street. The building’s owner, the Church of Latter-Day Saints, ripped out the walls in the other one-bedroom apartments between the 22nd and 37th floors and replaced them with windows as part of a big rehab. The plaintiffs argued that they would be disturbed by dust, fumes, noise and vibrations.
