New York Magazine takes a look at some of New York City’s most impressive property flips in the last several decades. Photographer Albert Watson bought 777 Washington Street in 1985 for $850,000 and recently sold it for $34 million. The Henry T. Sloane Mansion, at 18 East 68th Street, sold for $7.6 million in 2003, then flipped for $20 million in 2007, and is now on the market for $64 million. And in a recent quick flip at 15 Central Park West, a unit sold for $13.8 million after it was purchased just two months earlier for $6.9 million.
