The Donald criticizes the Freedom Tower

Real estate tycoon Donald Trump sounded off on the Freedom Tower in the second and final part of an exclusive interview with NY1. He talked about how the design of the Freedom Tower is unattractive and frets that the Freedom Tower will put too much office space onto a market that is already over saturated. He went as far as saying it could be a “catastrophe” for the city and wondered if the project should be built in this market. Also, Trump said the fact that the Freedom Tower does not resemble the World Trade Center — but one story taller and stronger — was the kiss of death for former Governor George Pataki.
