Architect gets $8M school design contract

New Jersey-based DMR Architects has been awarded an $8 million contract from the New York City School Construction Authority for design work at 18 public schools. Seven of these renovation projects have been completed, five are in the design phase, and six are under construction. Schools under way include P.S. 308 in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, and P.S. 118 in Jamaica, Queens. The work includes scope reports, construction documentation and construction administration services for capital improvement projects. TRD
