LIC got 12 new condos this past year

Broker-blogger Andrew Fine looks at the 12 new condos in
Long Island City that were built over the past year. Fine predicts that
the next six months will bring dramatic changes to the neighborhood,
and said that about 600 closings in these buildings, which include the
L Haus and the View at East Coast, will happen over the next four months. Fine
described these condo buyers as an “affluent group with a direct
ownership stake in the community,” and added that Long Island City natives
are welcoming of their new neighbors.
