The Market Diner at the corner of 43rd Street and 11th Avenue has reopened under new management after being closed for over two years, the Moinian Group, the site’s owner, announced today. The 11,500-square-foot diner was once a hangout for Frank Sinatra and other stars, and it was featured in a “Seinfeld” episode. The new managers, James Athanasopoulos and Elias and John Tsinias, operate several other Manhattan diners, including the Cosmic Diner on 52nd Street and Eighth Avenue. The Moinian Group represented both itself and the tenant in the lease transaction. TRD
