Queens residents rally for foreclosure moratorium

At the Queens
County Courthouse today, dozens of families showed up to protest for a
one-year moratorium on foreclosures. New York Acorn organized the
protest for the moratorium, which Governor David Paterson considered
last year but did not include in the subprime legislation. Thirteen of the 15 New York City zip codes with the highest
rates of foreclosure are in Queens, according to PropertyShark.com.
