New condo not for the birds

One Grand Army Plaza, a 15-story residential condominium with an all-glass exterior on the edge of Prospect Park at Flatbush Avenue, is a possible hazard to area birds. Glenn Phillips, executive director of NYC Audubon, said the combination of the glass and the location next to a park made the building “a deathtrap for birds” and a “recipe for disaster.”
