Milliken building will become vacant land

The Milliken Building at 1045 Avenue of the Americas will become vacant land, the New York Post reported. Milliken and Company, the South Carolina-based company that owns the building, has not used it in years. The company has already gotten a demolition permit for the building, but no decision has yet been made about what to build next on the 14,101-square-foot tract of land. The area’s zoning permits a larger building than the current eight-story tower.
