Openings and closings: Kushi-Q opening second location, Bounce Deuce closed

Conveyor belt sushi joint Yushi has opened at 245 Park Avenue at 47th Street. Discount clothing store De Janiero has opened at 56 West 45th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues. Japanese fast-food joint Kushi-Q is opening a second location on 53rd Street between Park and Lexington avenues, inside the Citigroup food court. Another Crumbs location is opening at 44th Street and Lexington Avenue in the former For Eyes Optical space. The Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory stand has returned to 42nd Street and Park Avenue near the Pershing Square restaurant.
 
French-Canadian spot T-Poutine is slated to open July 13 at 168 Ludlow Street on the Lower East Side. May Chan Ramen and Robatayaki is expected to open soon in the former Love Saves the Day space on Second Avenue and 7th Street. A coffee spot will open on West Broadway and Spring Street next to the Eileen Fisher store. Long-delayed restaurant Permanent Brunch at 95 First Avenue at 6th Street is slated to soft open soon.
 
In Brooklyn, Lily and Fig bakery and tea shop is now open at Franklin Street and Sterling in Crown Heights North. Signs are up for Bickels Jerk Express Restaurant & Cafe on Fulton Street between Franklin and Claver streets in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Ben Daitz of Num Pang sandwich shop will open the Vanderbilt at 570 Vanderbilt Avenue in Prospect Heights. Gina Cammarata has opened a gelato place, Piattini, at 9824 Fourth Avenue between Marina Avenue and 99th Street in Bay Ridge. In New Jersey, Bocconi Pasta Pronto & More will open at 363 Essex Street in Hackensack.
 
Amid these openings, East Village sports bar Bounce Deuce has shuttered at 103 Second Avenue at 6th Street. A kitchen fire has forced Annisa’s at 13 Barrow Street in the West Village to shutter indefinitely. Diner Joe Jr. at 482 Sixth Avenue closed Saturday. Colors Restaurant at 417 Lafayette Street will only be open to private parties for the summer. Soho eatery Tailor at 525 Broome Street will also be closed to the public during the summer months. Mambi Lounge on Second Avenue between 49th and 50th streets has shuttered. Grecian Corner at 234 Seventh Avenue between 23rd and 24th streets is closed for renovations. TRD
