Not all New Yorkers are boycotting Philadelphia this week: New York’s commercial real estate giant, Newmark Knight Frank, is bringing Philadelphia-based Smith Mack under its wing. Smith Mack, the 55-person regional commercial brokerage that will now be known as Newmark Knight Frank Smith Mack, views the partnership as a necessary step in accommodating large, global clients, according to a press release. Backing from Newmark Knight Frank will provide the firm with “additional infrastructure and support,” said Reid Blynn, managing partner of Smith Mack. TRD
