Lenny Kravitz’s duplex penthouse at 30 Crosby Street is finally in contract after a major renovation and years of coming on and off the market, according to Curbed. The eight-room, 6,000-square foot condo was last listed for $14.995 million, though it first hit the market in 2002 for $17 million, and, by 2004, was down to $12.95 million. In 2006, Kravitz pulled the listing to give his pad a rumored $1 million makeover. The apartment returned to the market in 2007 for $19.5 million prior to its latest price cut in November 2008. Kravitz originally purchased the spot in 2001 for $8.5 million. It has 3,000 square feet of outdoor space including a roof deck and terrace with a wood burning fireplace and a suspended glass staircase that leads to a second-level master bedroom. Bruce and Andrea Wohl Lucas of the Corcoran Group had the listing. [Curbed]
