Actor Tracy Morgan of “Saturday Night Live” is renting a
four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom condo in the West 50s, after
his apartment at 140-180 Riverside Boulevard at Trump Place caught
fire, New York Magazine reported. Morgan and his neighbors, including
“The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd, were temporarily displaced after
the blaze, which was caused by a defective lamp in Morgan’s pet shark’s
fish tank. Morgan’s new pad is a converted condo with a
1,000-square-foot terrace overlooking the city and private parking. The
landlord was recently asking $14,900 a month, though it’s unclear what
Morgan is paying. Morgan’s agent, Ann Cutbill Lenane, and listing agent
Charlie Attias of the Corcoran Group had no comment. [NY Mag]
