While the 68,459-square-foot penthouse unit at the Genesis Puntarenas condominium in Costa Rica might be the same size as many apartment buildings, this new-to-the-market residence is meant to be a single-family residence, according to the Wall Street Journal. The oceanfront unit, which was developed by Caspi International and is being marketed for $50 million, includes 10 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and a 42-seat dining room. Bob Hurwitz, a Beverly Hills-based broker who is marketing the listing, said that, so far, a Russian bachelor and a family living in China have expressed interest in the yet-to-be-completed unit. The condominium building contains 47 other units, according to Hurwitz, which range in price from $473,000 to $3.3 million. [WSJ]
