One New York City home appears to be enough for Anderson Cooper. The New York Post reported the CNN anchor, who famously renovated a century-old West Village firehouse he bought for $4.3 million into a home, is listing his penthouse at 28 West 38th Street for $3.75 million.
The 3,100-square-foot duplex in the 12-story co-op has two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a 1,700-square-foot terrace. Cooper completely renovated the unit, according to the Post, before listing it with Raphael De Niro of Prudential Douglas Elliman.
The Post said he is looking to unload the apartment because he’s moved into the 8,240-square-foot former firehouse at 84 West 3rd Street. Cooper was previously subject to a lawsuit by the workers renovating the structure.
Meanwhile, last month, Cooper paid $1.7 million for a home on the East End. [Post, 2nd item]
