Alicia Keys and producer husband Swizz Beatz are listing their Soho condominium for $17.95 million two years after purchasing it, the New York Post reported. The apartment is a 6,167-square-foot triplex penthouse at 30 Crosby Street with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, four half-bathrooms, a wine cellar, a media room, a floating glass staircase and a 3,000-square-foot terrace.
The Post said the pair bought the unit for $14.5 million from Lenny Kravitz, who let the unit languish on the sales market for eight years before the deal. Nicole Kidman and Denzel Washington have each also called the apartment home. The condo building, a restoration of a corset factory erected in 1890 between Grand and Broome streets, has seen several other celebrities pass through its 13 units, including Courtney Love and Laurence Isaacson.
Keys’ unit hit the market last Thursday and is listed by Eric Malley of Sotheby’s International Realty. [Post]
