Carrie Bradshaw moving to Brooklyn?

The ultimate Manhattanite, Carrie Bradshaw, might be making the ultimate sacrifice — moving to Brooklyn, the New York Daily News reported.

Sarah Jessica Parker, the actress who played Bradshaw on HBO’s “Sex and the City,” and husband actor Matthew Broderick, from both the film and Broadway productions of “The Producers,” are reportedly close to closing on two homes in Brooklyn Heights.

The celebrity couple will purchase two adjacent townhomes on State Street near Sidney Place if all goes as planned, resulting in a more than 7,000-square-foot home.

“They loved the West Village but wanted something more private, laid-back and discreet,” a source close to the negotiations told the News. [NYDN]
