After a foreclosure and several failed sales, the former Tribeca residence of hip hop producer Damon Dash has sold for $7.25 million, according to public records spotted by Curbed.

The buyer of the duplex, located at 25 North Moore Street in the Atalanta, is Francis Cueto. There is someone by that name who is a director of Bain Capital Boston, but Curbed was unable to confirm if that person is the buyer.

Dash purchased the 5,142-square-foot apartment in back 2004 for approximately $4 million. It was purchased again during a foreclosure auction by Platinum Capital’s Edward Farrell for $5.5 million. Since then Farrell’s attempts to flip the apartment have been unsuccessful. Most recently, designer Rachel Roy was squatting in the apartment.

Farrell relisted the property for $8.25 million but quickly slashed the price to $7.95 million. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
