The six-level Modernist limestone townhouse to be built at 34 East 62nd Street might seem exceptional, but it’s not.The zip code where developer Janna Bullock plans a $40 million home —complete with indoor pool and private courtyard —spans 60th to 69th between the river and Central Park, and is now America’s wealthiest, Forbes reported.

That exclusive neighborhood, the 10065 zip code on the Upper East Side, has a median asking price of $6.5 million, according to Forbes. Surprisingly, this is the first time a Manhattan zip has topped the magazine’s annual list of wealthiest postal codes.
