A single-family townhouse on the Upper East Side, which was listed for $14.9 million and sold for $12.85 two years ago, is again in contract, Curbed reported, and potentially for around its $24.25 million asking price. The home is located at 122 East 70th Street.
Michael Kafka and Theresa Thompson at Prudential Douglas Elliman had the listing for the 8,000-square-foot home, which Streeteasy.com shows was put back on the market in June. In August, the home was briefly taken off the market only to return in late September.
The listing says the home has been fully renovated with new bathrooms and a kitchen. There is a garden, a 30-foot living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, roof deck and six wood-burning fireplaces.
As The Real Deal previously reported, townhouse sales have been on an upswing this year. [Curbed] — Zachary Kussin
