Alfonso de Angoitia, the director and executive vice-president of Grupo Televisa S.A.B., the largest media company in the Spanish-speaking world, has paid $16.5 million for a co-op in 1030 Fifth Avenue, the New York Observer reported.

De Angoitia and his wife, Maria de la Concepcion de Angoitia Legoretta, paid full ask for the 10-room corner apartment, in a deal brokered by Serena Boardman of Sotheby’s International Realty. It overlooks the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park, and contains aluminum windows that were the subject of a lawsuit in the early 1990s.
