Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez is regaining his strength from hip surgery at a swanky rental apartment on the Upper West Side, the New York Post reported.
Home base for A-Rod is the Aldyn, at 60 Riverside Boulevard. “Alex is spending his days in rehab,” a source told the Post. “He’s at the gym for two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon, trying to recover as fast as he can so he can return to playing ball for the Yankees.”
The third baseman, went under the knife in January, has been checking out a variety of digs lately. He scoped out baseball superstar Ichiro Suzuki’s former apartment at the Laurel last month and the famed 15 Central Park West in February. [NYP] –Hayley Kaplan
