Leonardo DiCaprio’s taste in real estate appears to be as varied as his choice of movie roles.
DiCaprio is on the hunt for a new New York pad, looking at upscale uptown townhouses and downtown penthouse digs, all north of $25 million, the New York Post reported. In addition to checking out digs in Nolita and Soho, the actor recently took a gander at a $30 million Upper East Side townhouse at 45 East 74th Street, the Post said.
The Renaissance-style mansion was built in 1879 and features hand-crafted bronze and leather banisters, a marble façade from Italy, “honed millwork panels,” fireplaces, a swimming pool and a “terrace spa,” the Post reported.
The home is listed by Jason Karadus, Brett Miles and Robson Zannetti of Town Residential. [NYP] –Julie Strickland
