Rutherford Place at Stuyvesant Square has launched sales of its 78 condominiums, marketing firm Cantor-Pecorella announced today.
The 10-story building, at 305 Second Avenue between 17th and 18th streets, has mostly duplexes and triplexes with 17-feet ceilings and windows as high as 10 feet. The units have been renovated with new fixtures, finishes and appliances, according to Cantor-Pecorella, which is heading both the sales and marketing efforts. Pricing ranges from $600,000 to $2.5 million, a spokesperson told The Real Deal.
Amenities include a bicycle room, gym, a landscaped roof deck and a full-time doorman. The entrance and lobby are still being renovated.
Designed in 1902, the building was a gift to the city from financier and philanthropist J.P. Morgan – and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. — Mark Maurer
