Jared Kushner is unofficially offering up the penthouses at his Puck Building in Soho — and he’s getting plenty of early lookers. One: Leonardo DiCaprio, Hollywood icon and star of the soon-to-be released “The Wolf of Wall Street.” DiCaprio checked out penthouses in the $20 million-plus range; the six pads don’t have price tags yet.
Kushner added the luxe lofts to the historic buildings, at 295 Lafayette Street, after a contentious battle with the city’s landmarks panel. He had to scale back his plans, but the units still range from 4,895 square feet to more than 7,000 square feet. They all havbarrel vault brick ceilings, cast-iron columns, over-sized windows and open layouts, and three have deep, set-back outdoor space.
DiCaprio has been on the hunt for a Manhattan pad this summer, checking out plenty of pricey pads including a $30 million Upper East Side townhouse at 45 East 74th Street to a $20 million Tribeca penthouse at the Sterling Mason condominium at 71 Laight Street. [NYP] – Hiten Samtani
