UPDATED, 2:54 p.m., October 17: Leonardo DiCaprio is continuing his titanic quest for the perfect pad and recently checked out VE Equities’ latest project in Tribeca. The actor looked over plans for a 7,061-square-foot $40 million penthouse at 11 North Moore Street, the building where Douglas Elliman broker and “Million Dollar Listing New York” star Fredrik Eklund launched sales via Instagram, as Luxury Listings NYC reported.
The triplex penthouse has 3,168 square feet of outdoor space over three levels and boasts private parking as well as a private rooftop with a pool, the New York Post reported. The pricey pad will also make a cameo in the third season of MDLNY, according to the newspaper.
The building — being marketed by Eklund and his colleague John Gomes — was 50 percent sold out in three days, as Luxury Listings reported, and now it is three-quarters of the way home, with 75 percent of the units sold, according to the Post.
DiCaprio has also been spotted checking out the Sterling Mason condominium building at 71 Laight Street in Tribeca. [NYP, 2nd item] – Hiten Samtani
