Emmut Properties is gearing up to convert an existing residential building in East Harlem.
The firm, which recently generated buzz after selling a Harlem church to developers for $16.5 million and setting a price per square foot record for the area, has filed permits with the city to add five stories to the building, according to Buzzbuzzhome.
Located at 1987 Third Avenue, near 109th Street, Emmut, headed by John Young, paid $7.5 million for the building in December. [Buzzbuzzhome] – Christopher Cameron
