Accounting firm CohnReznick signed a lease to take 125,000 square feet at Paramount Group’s 1301 Sixth Avenue.
The country’s tenth largest accounting firm will be moving to the larger space from its headquarters at 1212 Sixth Avenue, the New York Post reported. Asking rent was $68 per square foot.
The audit firm’s current headquarters is situated between 47th and 48th Streets. The new office lies just a few blocks north at 52nd Street.
CohnReznick was represented by a CBRE team led by Michael Laginestra and including Rocco Laginestra and Michael Wellen. Paramount was represented by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Andrew Sachs, Timothy Gibson, Ben Shapiro, and Bill Levitsky.
Atlanta-based law firm Smith, Gambrell & Russell took 30,000 square feet in the building in May. [NYP] — Tess Hofmann
