BCBG Max founder Max Azria has listed his Beverly Hills, Calif., mansion for $85 million.
The French native is chair of the global conglomerate BCBG Max Azria Group, which includes some 20 designer brands, according to New York Post. Max and his wife, Lubov Azria, the company’s chief creative officer, purchased the 30,000-square-foot house in 2005. Reports suggest that since then, the couple has spent some $30 million on renovations.
The 60-room home was originally built in 1939 by legendary architect Paul Williams, who “helped shape the landscape of classic Hollywood,” according to the listing. It’s dubbed “Maison du Soleil,” and sits on three acres of landscaped property.
Just a few of the home’s over-the-top amenities include: closets the size of many NYC apartments, a kitchen with a walk-in fridge, a 6,000-square-foot movie theater, a greenhouse/gym, a gold-leaf ceiling in the office, a tennis court, an infinity pool, a Moroccan-style spa and a “French garden.” [NYP] – Christopher Cameron
