The latest math on Donald Trump’s finances pegs the Republican presidential hopeful’s worth at $2.9 billion, a far cry from the $10 billion figure he’s very humbly claimed.
That’s according to analysis by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, based partly on Trump’s 92-page personal financial disclosure form, which was made public last week.
Trump himself has claimed his net worth is more than $10 billion, but Bloomberg’s valuation places it at just under $3 billion, with the majority of Trump’s fortune derived from real estate holdings.
Those include the Trump Tower at 725 Fifth Avenue and a partnership with Vornado Realty Trust at 1290 Sixth Avenue, both in Midtown, as well as resorts in Florida and golf courses in the U.K. and Ireland. Forbes Magazine recently estimated the mogul’s net worth to be around $4.1 billion.
His financial disclosure forms also revealed that Trump holds at least $265 million in debt.
