This looks like a disaster waiting to happen, yet some fearless developer is moving forward with a “sky pool” that is literally suspended between two 10-story buildings.
The new London development will rise on the south bank of the Thames. The floating pool will measure roughly 80 feet by 16 feet and sink to just under 10 feet at its deepest, according to Mashable.
Obviously, a project this daring needs some reinforcement, and that is coming in the form of eight-inch-thick glass.
But if you want to swim in thin air you better act soon: Only about 2,000 homes across the two buildings will have access to the truly one-of-a-kind swimming experience. [Mashable] – Christopher Cameron
