Actor, comedian and author Aziz Ansari can’t get over his modern romance with New York.
Ansari checked out a $4.9 million penthouse unit at Alfa Development’s the Village Green at 311 East 11th Street in the East Village, along with his girlfriend, pastry chef Courtney McBroom.
Ansari played Tom Haverford on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation.” He’s also the author of the best-selling pop-science tome, “Modern Romance.”
McBroom was a longtime chef at the Momofuku Milk Bar, and contributed to the restaurant’s cookbooks. The 2,000-square-foot triplex pad, PH2A, in the eco-friendly building, features a solarium and a “massive” roof deck, according to the New York Daily News.
The couple currently live together in Ansari’s home in Los Angeles, which he bought last year. [NYDN] – Ariel Stulberg
