With MetLife planning to consolidate its offices at its namesake building, Salesforce is looking to sublease 300,000 square feet of the insurance giant’s digs at 3 Bryant Park.

The cloud software firm is in advanced talks to take the space at Ivanhoe Cambridge’s Midtown property,  the Commercial Observer reported.  MetLife currently leases well over 400,000 square feet as well as rooftop signage at the 1.2 million-square-foot tower, which Ivanhoe Cambridge and Callahan Capital Properties bought from the Blackstone Group for $2.2 billion in January.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Bruce Mosler, John Cefaly, Robert Lowe and Ethan Silverstein are representing MetLife, while their colleague Gus Field is representing Salesforce.

Salesforce currently holds two offices in Manhattan, at 685 Third Avenue in Midtown and 155 Sixth Avenue in Hudson Square.

MetLife recently moved to expand its presence at 200 Park Avenue, the MetLife Building, to 500,000 square feet, and said it would close all its other offices. [NYO]Ariel Stulberg
