In another sign of softening at the top end of luxury residential market, Kushner Companies is slashing the price of Penthouse 1 at its Puck Building in Soho, one of the most expensive listings in the city.
The developer is now asking $58.5 million for the 7,200-square-foot condominium. That’s down from the $66 million Kushner asked when it listed the unit last year, an 11 percent drop, Curbed reported.
The four-bedroom apartment, one of six penthouses at the building, features a wine cellar, a home theater, and 5,000-square-feet of outdoor space, which includes an outdoor spa and a “yoga lawn.”
Deborah Grubman, David Dubin and Paul Albano of the Corcoran Group are marketing the listing.
Kushner added the six penthouses to the landmarked building, located at 295 Lafayette Street, with sales opening in 2013.
Another apartment at the building, Penthouse II, went into contract last week for $35 million. [Curbed] – Ariel Stulberg
