It seems Carrie Bradshaw just can’t leave the Village behind.
Less than a year after selling her West 10th Street townhouse, Sarah Jessica Parker, who played Bradshaw in “Sex and the City,” is said to be buying two other pads on West 11th Street.
A source told The Real Deal that the star is in contract to buy two properties, at 273-275 West 11th Street, from the United Methodist Women, a nonprofit. UMW has owned the properties since the 1920s and had been using them as a guesthouse and conference center.
The organization put the properties on the market with Eastern Consolidated last September, asking $44 million. It wasn’t clear what Parker would pay for them.
Parker’s publicist was not immediately available and her broker, “Million Dollar Listing New York” agent Fredrik Eklund of Douglas Elliman, did not return multiple requests for comment.
A spokesperson for Eastern confirmed that the properties are in contract to sell but declined to comment on the identity of the buyer.
The two contiguous brick properties, located between Bleecker and West 4th Streets, collectively hold 13,900 square feet and could be combined into one large single-family mansion. They come with a 2,100-square-foot private garden.
Parker and her actor husband Matthew Broderick netted $18.25 million from the sale of their last place, at 20 East 10th Street, which they sold at a $750,000 loss well short of the initial asking price of $25 million. The New York Post reported over the weekend that the couple were spotted checking out apartments at the Shephard, a Naftali Group project at 275 West 10th Street.
The actress is filming a new HBO series “Divorce,” in which she stars alongside Thomas Haden Church as a woman whose husband discovers she’s having an affair.
