The 5,840-square-foot duplex was once listed for $44M
Hedge fund manager Harsh Padia picked up a six-bedroom condominium unit at 150 Charles Street in the West Village for $29.1 million, or nearly $5,000 per square foot, according to property records filed with the city Monday.
The 5,840-square-foot duplex was at one time listed for $44 million, before being cut to $40 million, according to StreetEasy. The unit also boasts six bathrooms and 3,000 square feet of private landscaped terraces.
A Douglas Elliman team led by Raphael De Niro listed the apartment.
The Real Deal recently took a look at the who’s who — financiers, bankers, tech entrepreneurs, celebs and musicians — at the 91-unit 150 Charles Street, which was developed by Steve Witkoff. Residents include rocker Jon Bon Jovi and model Irina Shayk.
Padia and his wife, interior designer Purvi Padia, own a five-bedroom penthouse at 471 Washington Street in Tribeca. Padia bought the 7,140-square-foot condo in 2012 and it is currently on the market for $24.5 million.
