New York City is home to increasingly fewer skybridges, but soon there will be one more in the mix.
JDS Development Group’s “dancing” towers in Kips Bay, which have just been dubbed the American Copper Buildings, will be joined by a three-story, 100 foot-long skybridge. The connecting feature will be topped with private terraces and packed with its own amenities, including a 75-foot lap pool, whirlpool hot tub, residents’ lounge and bar, and fitness center.
The rental buildings, which are named for the 5,000 copper panels that will compose its facade, will feature a rooftop infinity view pool, a Turkish style Marble Hammam spa room with plunge pool, and juice and health bar. According to the project’s teaser site, leasing for the project’s 761 units will begin this fall.
