Ghislaine Maxwell – daughter of a disgraced publisher, friend to Britain’s Prince Andrew and alleged madam of underage escorts – sold her house on the Upper East Side.
The socialite disposed of the five-story, 7,000-square-foot Beaux Arts townhouse at 116 East 65th Street on the Upper East Side, banking $15 million, the New York Post reported.
The building features a four-person elevator as well as eight fireplaces, a fully finished basement and a landscaped garden.
Maxwell – whose father Robert Maxwell created a press empire, only to have it fall apart after his vast embezzlement was exposed after his death – had asked $18.99 million for the property when she first listed it last year.
She allegedly arranged for her ex-boyfriend, convicted sex offender and former financier Jeffrey Epstein, to meet with prostitutes, some of whom were underage.
