Looks like the Upper East Side will be spared from another megamansion. Russian billionaire Alexei Kuzmichev is looking to flip his Upper East Side quadruplex just four months after buying it.
Kuzmichev listed the apartment, which sits in a seven-story townhouse 33 East 74th Street, for $44 million with Douglas Elliman’s [TRDataCustom] Richard Steinberg, Matthew Slosar, Alexander Mignogna and Emanuele Fiore. He paid $42 million for the pad in May and also bought an apartment in an adjacent building for $15.5 million. Kuzmichev reportedly tried to connect the two.
The mogul made his fortune — which Forbes estimates is around $7.6 billion — as head of Alfa Group, the owner of Russia’s Alfa Bank.
