Major League Baseball is set to ink its 400,000-square-foot lease at 1271 Sixth Avenue by Thursday morning, with a move-in date expected for 2019.

The sports league is ready to sign off on its long-buzzed-about deal to consolidate offices on Park Avenue and in Chelsea at Rockefeller Group’s 2.1 million-square-foot office tower, the New York Post reported.

The landlord is pumping $600 million into the 1959 building in order to attract new tenants after Time, Inc. moved to Brookfield Place and Brooklyn.

The renovation, with construction costs pegged at $325 million, will include replacing the entire curtain wall to allow 60 percent more light into the 48-story tower.

MLB will consolidate 220,000 square feet at 245 Park Avenue and 115,000 square feet at Chelsea Market.

The league will replace the current ground floor studio used by SportsNet New York, which is relocating to 4 World Trade Center, for player appearances and a store to sell team goods.

A team at CBRE of Scott Gottlieb, Ken Meyerson, Chris Corrinet, Brendan Herlihy and Daniel Wilpon (who’s related to Mets owner Fred Wipon) represented MLB.

Mary Ann Tighe, Howard Fiddle and John Maher, also of CBRE, represented Rockefeller Group, which had its in-house leasing team of Ed Guiltinan and Jennifer Stein on the deal too. [NYP] – Rich Bockmann
